Microsoft - new MSN homepage
The roll out will gradually make its way to 100 million US customers over the next few weeks. Microsoft is calling it the "most significant homepage redesign in over a decade." The redesign features a new butterfly logo as well as 30 updates based on loads of customer feedback.

300 million licenses of Windows 7 in 2010
Microsoft has projected that they will sell 300 million copies of Windows 7 in 2010, including the already 90 million licenses sold in the first four months since general availability. The estimate of 300 million copies sold is a fairly high target, but definitely not out of reach for Microsoft, says Softpedia.

Facebook takes back control of its adverts from Microsoft
Microsoft confirmed today that it had reached a mutual decision with Facebook, allowing the social network to take over responsibility for selling display advertisements on its own site. In October 2007 Microsoft announced a $240 million investment in Facebook for a roughly 1.6 percent stake in the Web phenomenon.

Microsoft to end original Xbox game support
For a while now, Microsoft has allowed people to purchase and download original Xbox games (appropriately named Xbox Originals) on Xbox Live, in order for them to be played on their Xbox 360 console. As you'd imagine, this support could only go so far, and now it's official – according to The Gamerscore Blog, Microsoft will be ending support for the originals, beginning April 15.

Microsoft has confirmed it is investigating a problem causing some Windows 7 users to receive incorrect battery warnings on their laptops. Microsoft has sold over 60 million Windows 7 licenses, Q2 results
Microsoft today announced a record revenue for the second quarter ended Dec. 31, 2009. Microsoft confirmed it had sold more than 60 million Windows 7 licenses in the second quarter making it the fastest selling. The revenue increase was a 14% increase from the same period of the prior year resulting in $19.02 billion revenue for the second quarter.
