OPEN SOURCE SOFTWARE OUTFIT Mozilla has released its free Firefox 3.6 web browser.
The Mozzarella Foundation's Firebadger 3.6 includes better support for web standards and access to more than 6,000 free add-ons that allow users to customise their web browser experience.
The outfit claims that its latest browser is more than 20 per cent faster than Firefox 3.5 and includes extensive under the hood work to improve performance.
It has new features like customisable browser themes called Personas, a ground-breaking Plugin updater and improved Javascript performance.
