Nikon D5000 12.9 megapixel

Nikon D5000 comes with 12 .9 megapixel with 2.7 in LCD to view .It has a build in sensor cleaning technology. The LCD is movable in any direction and the new batteries added increase the more power for longer time.The most noteworthy feature on the D5000 is the all new tilt and swivel LCD display used for a standard status display as well as live view and image/video playback. The only other new features of note are the new higher-capacity EN-EL9a battery and the optional MC-DC2 remote cord. Overall, the total package is pretty impressive for an advanced consumer camera like the D5000.

LCD:
On the back is a large 2.7-inch, Vari-anlge color LCD with 230,000 pixels of resolution. This large display not only offers a larger typeface for easy navigation, but added versatility in framing with the option to rotate the screen into several different positions.


Compatible Lenses
AF-S or AF-I: All functions supported.
• Type G or D AF NIKKOR without built-in autofocus motor: All functions except autofocus supported. IX NIKKOR lenses not supported.
• Other AF NIKKOR: All functions supported except autofocus and 3D color matrix metering II. Lenses for F3AF not supported.
• Type D PC NIKKOR: All functions supported except autofocus and some shooting modes.
• AI-P NIKKOR: All functions supported except autofocus and 3D color matrix metering II.
• Non-CPU: Autofocus not supported. Can be used in mode M, but exposure meter does not function. Electronic rangefinder can be used if lens has a maximum aperture of f/5.6 or faster

Flash Control
 The built-in speedlight automatically pops-up and fires when using Auto exposure mode only. i-TTL technology improves the accuracy of fill-flash exposure and white balance in a picture,
