Sony Ericsson C901

The most highlighting feature is the amazing 5 mega pixel camera with autofocus, xenon flash and LED flash. The camera provides with high imaging quality and the images resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels. The camera is loaded with other features like geo-targeting, smile detection, face detection and QVGA video recording.

It  features a 2.2 inches TFT display screen with resolution of 240 x 360 pixels and 256k colors.  The cell phone has an inbuilt accelerometer senor that detects the mode of the display screen according to the position of the phone.
The Sony Ericsson C901 is a great value in terms of image quality

Features:

    * 110 MB internal memory which can be expanded up to 8GB via Memory Stick Micro
    * GPRS and EDGE both of Class 10
    * 3G with HSDPA and speed upto 3.6Mbps
    * Bluetooth v 2.0 with A2DP for fast and flexible data exchange with other Bluetooth devices
    * Built in and Downloadable games for streaming into non-stop entertainment
    * Stereo FM Radio and Music Media player
    * Multi-tasking and task manager for enhanced user interactive platform

Main disadvantages

    * Video recording maxes out at QVGA@30fps
    * No document viewer
    * Memory card slot under the battery cover
    * Disappointing retail package contents

Along with the handset you get a wall charger, user guide and a rather basic pair of earphones. OK, the Sony Ericsson C901 isn’t about music but given its nice audio quality (as tested) and the lack of a 3.5mm audio jack, it would’ve been nice of Sony Ericsson to throw in at least an adapter to make up for the supplied earphones.

Music player
The Music Player to be found in C901 is version 3.0 - a slightly abridged edition of Walkman player 3.0. Across the Media Center menus, you can enjoy screen auto-rotation. The player supports numerous file formats, including the regularly used MP3, WAV, WMA, M4A and E-AAC plus the MegaBass equalizer preset and Stereo widening. The player can naturally be set to run in the background.

FM radio with RDS and TrackID
The integrated FM radio of Sony Ericsson C901 has memory for 20 stations and supports RDS. It has a nice interface and makes great use of the TrackID music recognition service. The radio can be minimized in the background much like the music player

5 megapixel shooter:

the Sony Ericsson C901 has a 5 megapixel camera capable of producing images with a maximum resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels. The handset is equipped with a xenon flash and a LED one to assist auto-focusing in poor light conditions. The xenon flash is strong enough and definitely saves the day in poor and no-light conditions.

Video recording

Of course, the C901 is also capable of capturing video, even if it's limited to QVGA resolution at 30fps. You can use the LED flash in the video recording. The clips are recorded in mp4 format and take about 3 MB for every minute of recording.
