HTC HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Phone

HTC HD2 has one of the largest display found on mobile phones. The 480 x 800 WVGA resolution is commonly found on 3.2+ inch displays but here we have this resolution on a 4.3 inch screen. It will be interesting to see if the larger display will add value to the phone except for better readability.

The larger screen pumps up the size of the device itself. With dimentions 120.5 x 67 x 11mm this relatively large hardware will not suit everyone. On the other hand. That is what I thought when the proven popular iPhone came out as well.

Attaching the HTC HD2 to the optional car kit will transform the HD2 to a GPS navigation device and charge it at the same time. For a comparison; most popular GPS navigation systems have display sizes below 4 inches and resultions below 500 x 300 pixels.
